This Department is responsible in the administration, coordination, supervision and implementation of approved program of works  and plans of the different projects of the Municipality. It is also tasked in monitoring the proposed and on-going projects of the town. Likewise, implement the National Building Code in accordance with its rules and regulation specifically the erection or construction of buildings within the territorial jurisdiction of the City.

ADMINISTRATIVE SECTION:
The organizational set-up of this Department is composed of 1 department head, 1 clerk, 1 Mechanical Shop Foreman, 1 Mechanic, 1 Automotive Inspector, 5 Heavy Equipment Operators, 1 Driver and 1 Job–order employee. On the other hand, sending notice of violations to the owners of buildings being constructed without building permits is continuous program of this office to minimize the violation of the National Building Code. It was observed that the number of building permit applicants for year 2006 has declined compared to the past two years.
TARGET FOR FISCAL YEAR:
The main target of this department for the fiscal year is an increase in the total collection of building permit and certificate of occupancy fees. |
