The LGU Social Welfare and Development Office heade by Ms. Lilibeth D. Maligsay is the focal entity that manages the Social Welfare delivery system.
The services of the City Social Welfare and Development Office of Batac are still focus on the amended mandates of the Department of Social Welfare and Development which is to promote and protect the social well being and best interest of the Filipinos and base on the vision of LGU-Batac which is “To achieve a sustainable growth for Batac and its people”.

The services include programs and projects on child and youth welfare, family and community welfare, women’s welfare, welfare of the elderly and persons with disability, community-based rehabilitation programs for vagrants, beggars, street children, scavengers, juvenile delinquents, and family planning services.

Clientele of the CSWDO are categorized as follows:

  • Families in especially difficult circumstances;
  • Communities in especially difficult circumstances;
  • Women in especially difficult circumstances;
  • Children and Youth in especially difficult circumstances;
  • Senior Citizens;
  • Persons with Disabilities;
  • Victims of natural manmade disaster
