THE PRESS CLUBof the City Government of Batac  had their oath taking ceremonies last December 21, 2012 at the Imelda Cultural Center, Batac City with the Hon. City Mayor Jeffrey Jubal C. Nalupta as their inducting officer.

“The need for balanced news gathering and dissemination is inevitable nowadays particularly as partners in nation building,” said the CGB Press Club President, radio broadcaster, Mr. Leonard Villa, who as a good soldier promptly delivered a short message after their induction. He made a vow to earnestly do their duties and responsibilities as media practitioners, and asked the local chief executive together with the other government officials to be more patient with them, if there will be numerous times of interviews and the likes as they would like to take up the challenge of becoming a part and parcel of the City Government of Batac towards its progress and development. This statement was greatly applauded by the audience then.

The CGB Press Core Officers and members came from the tri-media group of broadcasting via television/cable networks, radio stations and in local broadsheets.
